Dear editor, On May 1, 2016, my family was going down the freeway on our way home from Boise to Arco. At Exit 90, we had a rear tire explode and sent our vehicle into a roll into the median. I think we rolled about five times. I was knocked unconscious. My husband was driving, and my 17-year-old son was a back seat passenger with our small dog. We lost our dog in the crash. He was ejected from the car during the rollover and ran off only to get run over by a passing car...

Team rescues man on South Fork

A man was safely recovered from the South Fork of the Boise River following a rafting accident between Prairie and Neal Bridge on May 31. Bradley Chatlin, 48, was floating with a friend down the river when they ran into the rapids where Buffalo Creek and the South Fork meet.
