Effort spruces up downtown

Volunteers stuff assorted school supplies into backpacks as they participate in the Fourth Annual Operation: I Got Your Backpack project on Thursday. People gathered at the River of Life Family Worship Center to fill the backpacks, which will go to schools in Mountain Home and surrounding areas. The schools will then hand these backpacks to children whose families might not be able to afford these student necessities...

Students from the College of Idaho and the College of Southern Idaho mix it up as they compete in an exhibition game Monday afternoon at Mountain Home High School's Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium. Both teams traveled to Mountain Home as part of a pre-season warm up. The coaches from both teams specifically chose Mountain Home because they wanted a place between Twin Falls and Caldwell where they could meet on neutral ground...
