Portions of upper Canyon Creek Road closed due to fire

Local fire crews battled a series of range fires Monday afternoon with one burning more than 1,000 acres north of Mountain Home. According to Nick Yturri from the Bureau of Land Management, five spot fires ignited over an eight-mile stretch of the interstate starting around 2 p.m.

Sabrina is the daughter of Tom and Cindy Huggins and Robert is the son of Darrell and Betty Welle, all of Mountain Home.
