Arisha Karren and Andy Croft led their respective girls and boys Mountain Home cross country teams at the Gary Ward Invitational at Lake View Park in Nampa last Thursday morning. Arisha Karren ran the course in 22 minutes, 19 seconds -- good enough for 28th overall and three seconds ahead of teammate Aerial Groene (22:22). Elmore County authorities are responding to an apparent hunting accident above Pine in which a 10-year-old girl has been reported shot.
