The Bishop Kelly Knights jumped out to a 29-7 lead after a quarter and went on to defeat the Mountain Home Tigers 56-6 last Friday night in SIC 4A conference football at Bishop Kelly. Weldon "Hal" Franck, 84, passed away in Vancouver, Wash., on Oct. 2, 2012, following a long illness. He was born March 21, 1928, in Tobias, Neb. The family lived in Dallas, Ore., before moving to Portland where Hal graduated from Franklin High School...

Danielle "Danni" Gilbert, 39, of Mountain Home, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her home, following an illness.
