Dear Editor: This is for the people responsible for making firewood available across from the cemetery. I want to express my gratitude to the people who made the trees available. For those of us who burn wood to heat our homes, the opportunity to get firewood so easily is greatly appreciated. It saves us much time and money and I hope it helps whoever is clearing the land. President Bush's mismanagement of the war in Iraq is resulting in record low approval ratings for his administration and widespread defection even from his own party's ranks. Those defections, combined with Democratic opposition to Bush's policies, are coming to a head right now with a series of proposals before Congress to withdraw American troops from Iraq within the next year...
