The Elmore County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in tracking down a person of interest in connection with a series of burglaries reported across the county. As of Friday, detectives were investigating more than eight burglaries reported over the past three weeks.

The military medical facility at Mountain Home Air Force Base remains on track to start shutting down some of its medical services in June. The facility will transition from an inpatient hospital to an outpatient clinic by mid-summer.
