Base airman charged with murder in child's death

Richard R. Laubach, 20, of Mountain Home, faces charges of first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of a child last Wednesday. The airman who serves at Mountain Home Air Force Base was arrested March 12 at a Boise hospital on an arrest warrant issued in Elmore County.

Two extra positions open for hospital board election

Two additional positions have opened up for election to the Elmore County hospital district's board of directors. Two positions had been announced as being up for election in the May 21 voting, but two more have been added following the resignations of Dr. John Bideganeta and Bill Ringert.
