Richard R. Laubach, 20, of Mountain Home, faces charges of first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of a child last Wednesday. The airman who serves at Mountain Home Air Force Base was arrested March 12 at a Boise hospital on an arrest warrant issued in Elmore County.

"Throughout their 60 years of marriage they travelled the world in the Air Force, from Florida to Alaska and Germany and finally settled in Mountain Home for the last 30 years," their daughters said. ...

M. D. (Don) and Lawanda Hinton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 23, at a party given by their children at the Mountain Home Senior Center. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m.

Two additional positions have opened up for election to the Elmore County hospital district's board of directors. Two positions had been announced as being up for election in the May 21 voting, but two more have been added following the resignations of Dr. John Bideganeta and Bill Ringert. Cindy Terriberry-Kencke and Melanie Bethel were appointed to fill the vacancies but the two appointees will need to be elected to office in order to fill out the remainder of the terms of office...
