Arthur Schafer, 58, of Nampa, who had been missing since July 7, was found dead in the Bread Winner Creek area on the middle fork of the Boise River in Elmore County Tuesday. The U.S. Forest Service Mountain Home District Ranger has issued an immediate temporary emergency closure to restrict all motorized access to a portion of Forest Road 129, which is the primary route to the Trinity Mountain Recreation Area.
