This week the Mountain Home Library celebrated the conclusion of its Summer Reading Program. The program was a huge success, with more than ten thousand books checked out and over sixty thousand minutes of reading shared between participants. Sharon Rose Harmon, beloved wife, mother, and friend passed away suddenly but peacefully surrounded by her family on June 28th, 2021 in Boise, Idaho. Sharon was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington on July 25, 1959 to Maurice and Shirley. She graduated from Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma, WA. in 1978. She worked extremely hard in the food service industry for over 20 years...

According to a posting on the news events section of their website, on Thursday, June 24th, the Idaho Humane Society assisted with the seizure of 28 dogs who were kept in deplorable conditions at the residence of Virginia Diane and John Cobb in Oasis, Idaho, owned by her son Randy Anderson, at the request of the Elmore County Sheriff’s Department. Michael Leroy Fuller, “Mike” age 54, of Mountain Home, passed away at his home on June 25, 2021.
