The community of Mountain Home celebrated Independence Day with a day of activities in Carl Miller Park including a car show, horse rides, food trucks and vendors, live music and a pageant for the local youth. Dorothy M. Foote, age 83, of Mountain Home, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, at a care center in Nampa. No local services will be held. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
