City Council Discusses Museum Repairs and New K-9 Officer (Local News ~ 07/06/18)
On June 27 Mountain Home City Council met to discuss the city's tentative budget for 2019 and where additional funds should be placed. Treasurer Paula Szafranski said this is the second year that everything has been funded. The council discussed funding for the city's civic groups which included $10,000 to the Mountain Home Senior Center, $5,000 for Elmore County Domestic Violence Council, $5,000 to the Mountain Home Arts Council, and $8,000 for the Mountain Home Museum and $20,000 for Treasure Valley Transit, which included a one-time request of an additional $10,000 towards the purchase of a new bus. ... -
