Pollinators are quickly becoming endangered, leading many cities throughout the nation to participate in BeeCity USA - Mountain Home may become the second Idaho city to join. Brad Stokes, local University of Idaho Extension educator and new member of the Parks and Recreation board, has applied on the city's behalf to become a member of BeeCity USA, a non-profit organization which seeks to protect all native and introduced pollinators, including bees, moths and butterflies. ...

4 MHHS Band students to perform in state honor bands

Two of the students, Brayden Kunkel and Nichole Cirricione, auditioned last October and were accepted to play in the Idaho All-State Honor Band. Western Governers University held its 64th commencement ceremony at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando on Feb. 10 to celebrate the graduation of about 15,000 graduates from across the country, four of which are from Mountain Home.
