Giving Tree runs smoothly thanks to community support

The annual Giving Tree project is running at full steam with 525 kids from 212 families receiving help this holiday season. That's a lot of presents to wrap! The Giving Tree helps provide children from newborns up to the age of 16 with winter clothing and toy donations. Garbage rate increase throughout Mountain Home

On Dec. 11 Mountain Home City Council held their regularly scheduled meeting. Originally the plan was to open up with a discussion on the lease agreement with the WECRD for the Minor League dugouts, but after new WECRD Director Lee Pierce addressed the council the discussion was tabled for a later date.
