The weather held out just long enough for the last show to wrap up before the first drops of rain started to fall Sunday afternoon. The light drizzle didn't seem to deter the thousands of people that gathered in front of the six jets that were preparing to park just a short distance away...

A week of friendly competitions between classmates and the crowning of Senior McKenzie Thomason as this year's homecoming queen were simply not enough to overcome Mountain Home High School's streak of bad luck on the gridiron. Down by six going into halftime, the Mountain Home Tigers were unable to post any more points in the closing minutes. With the clock running out, the varsity football squad fell to Jerome High School in another homecoming heartbreaker (See story page B-1)...

Robert Lee Murrin, "Mr. Bob," 69, of Mountain Home, passed away at a Boise hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
