Laubach pleads guilty to first-degree murder (Local News ~ 07/09/14)
Richard R. Laubach, a Mountain Home man accused of killing his stepson in March 2013, pled guilty to the charge during a hearing on Monday. Laubach pled guilty to a single count of first-degree murder as part of an agreement between the county prosecutor and his defense team. -
Washiks celebrate 60th (Anniversary ~ 07/09/14)
Edward and Pauline (Sovis) Washik, of Mountain Home, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 24. The couple were married in 1954 in Johnson City, N.Y., and said they enjoyed their travels of 20 years in the Air Force. They have three children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren... -
