Longtime Mountain Home residents Wade and Sue Baumgardner celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8, 2012. They were married in the base chapel at Portland Air Base, Ore. The couple started their association with Mountain Home in 1961 when Wade was assigned to the Mountain Home AFB Fire Department, where he served until 1964 when he shipped out to Vietnam. They returned to Mountain Home and have resided in their home here since 1972...
