Dear editor: I would like to personally thank Sen. Tim Corder of Mountain Home for his professional assistance involving a problem with the State of Idaho. In the past, if I had a concern with the city, I would merely get a very good attorney. If a person looks into the multitude of listings for state offices, I'm sure the governor does not know what some of these people do. Just getting an attorney was not the solution here!...

While the local Air Force base expects to eliminate 34 civilian positions as part of the Air Force's mandate to cut 9,000 government jobs, it doesn't directly translate into people losing their jobs here...
