A former Elmore County man, who served 15 years in prison for a child sex abuse case here, was convicted last week in Malheur County, Ore., on 23 counts of encouraging child sexual abuse by possessing child pornography. Robert Dennis Kilby, 67, had previously been sentenced to prison in Elmore County in 1995 on two counts of sexual abuse of a child, two counts of possession of sexual exploitative material and one count of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor. ...

Search teams find missing hunter

Elmore County search and rescue teams were called out Thursday morning to look for a hunter who may be lost somewhere between Tipanuk and Danskin Mountain. The 36-year-old Boise man was reported missing by his family after he did not return home last night. He is driving a blue 2011 Ford Flex with 1A plates.
