Power outage traps woman in elevator

New legislative districts proposed

The new legislative redistricting map, adopted on a 6-0 vote last week by the state redistricting commission, will return most of Owyhee County to the same legislative district as Elmore County. Ten years ago, eastern Owyhee County and Elmore County were combined into legislative District 22. But after the 2000 census, redistricting placed Elmore County and Boise County together in District 22, even though there was no paved road directly linking the two disparate counties together...

Everything went so smoothly and was well represented with runners, supervision and spectators. What a wonderful experience for ourchildren!
