Wing commander to get first star

Col. Charles Shugg, commander of the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home AFB, has been nominated by the president for appointment to the grade of brigadier general, United States Air Force. The nomination, made late Friday afternoon, but now be approved by the United States Senate. Library expansion project nearing completion (Local News ~ 11/09/05)
Work on the Mountain Home Public Library expansion is entering the home stretch, and with the cover over the outside patio being completed now the emphasis is moving to inside the building. Last year voters approved a $1.5 million bond to more than double the size of the library, and many of those voters have taken to driving past the library at least once a week just to see how their commitment to the future is coming along... -
