A lightning storm Monday afternoon triggered multiple range fires across parts of Elmore and Owyhee counties with crews continuing to fight these blazes into Tuesday. The Bureau of Land Management reported a total of nine fires in Elmore County attributed to the storm and as of press time had already consumed more than 10,000 acres of range land...

An Arizona man was arrested June 21 in connection with an attempted vehicle burglary in the King Hill area in addition to stealing two vehicles.
