UPDATED FINAL RETURNS: GOP sweeps local elections

Republicans were making a clean sweep of all contested local races Tuesday. Due to problems with the vote tabulating machines at the courthouse, election returns were late being reported. As of 12:30 a.m., voted in a total of 11 of the 19 precincts had been counted. Those results are listed below (they will be updated again in the morning). Prosecution rests in triple-murder trial

The prosecution rested it's case against Jorge Lopez-Orozco Monday. No court will be held Tuesday due to the elections. The defense will begin to present it's case in the triple-murder trial Wednesday.
