James W. DeFeyter II

James W. DeFeyter II, “Jim”, age 62, U.S. Air Force veteran, and resident of Glenns Ferry, Idaho, sadly passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born on October 28, 1961, in Holland, Michigan.

He fashioned himself a mountain man, self-sufficient and devoted to the land and soil. He lived life on his terms, guided by his convictions and truth.

Jim is survived by his sisters, Mary (Skip) Martin, Cincinnati, OH; and Susan (Michael) Flack, Kansas City, MO; nephew Charles (Kristina) Martin and niece Emily Martin, Cincinnati, OH.

He was predeceased by his parents, James (Jim) and Betty De Feyter (Holland, MI).

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Glenn Rest Cemetery (11:00 a.m.), followed by a Celebration of Life at the Glenns Ferry VFW Post, 132 East 5th Avenue.
