Volunteers join forces to help those in need

A team of more than a dozen people from Mountain Home and Mountain Home Air Force Base gathered at Optimist Park to provide help to others in the local community.

During a scheduled event held March 27, the volunteers loaded various food items into a convoy of vehicles parked along the road leading into the park as part of the food distribution program hosted by the Idaho Food Bank.
