Aspiring performers take stage

Students get into character as they showcase their acting abilities during the Missoula Children’s Theater auditions on March 31.

They got excited. They gasped and shouted in fear. They jumped into the air and they waved their hands to make their point known. In some cases, they strayed from their cues and improvised.

For many of the nearly 30 children and teens that gathered at Mountain Home High School on March 31, it was their first step into the limelight. For each of them, it was a chance to shine as they took their first steps into the world of theater.
