Student places at state poetry event

Following his award-winning performance at a state-level writing competition two years ago, a student from Mountain Home High School once again faced off against students from across Idaho as he vied for top honors during this year’s Idaho State Poetry Out Loud final.

Hosted each year by the Idaho Commission on the Arts, Liam Peterson was one of 12 teen finalists that took part in the poetry recitation contest held at the Riverside Hotel in Garden City.
