City, county officials discuss issues

Plans to restore a dispatch agreement between Mountain Home and Elmore County and conflicts involving the city animal shelter highlighted several issues members of the city council and county commissioners discussed during a meeting March 7.

The cooperative agreement between the city and county involving emergency dispatch services looked at possibly ending because the city failed to make a payment for these services before the Nov. 1 deadline.
