Kenneth (Ken) Jerry Johnson

Ken passed away on February 18th, 2025 at his home in Oasis, ID, at the age of 89. He was born on January 3rd, 1936, in Fort Clark, Texas, to Viola Mae and William Harry Johnson

Ken served 22 years in the United States Air Force and retired in 1974 as a Master Sergent. After the Air Force, he worked for the BLM NIFCI fire center until he retired in 2005. Ken belonged to several organizations in his life, including a motorcycle club, the Silver Sage Riding Club, the Idaho High Dessert Travelers [Good Sam club], ATV/UTV club, American Legion, and he served as a Commissioner of the Oasis Volunteer Fire Department.

Ken is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Carol Hanni (Jerry), son Dutch Johnson (Patti), son Ron Johnson(died on February 19, 2025) (Kim), grandchildren Becky Ward (Mike), Sommer Oltenau (Ben), Candra Humphery (Nate), Cody, Jasmine, Chris, Kenny, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and his brother Leonard. He was preceded in death by both parents, brother Donald, first wife Tilli, and daughter Corol.

A Celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 26 on March 16th, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 26
