Talkin’ Tigers win honors at district event

Students from Mountain Home High School’s Talkin’ Tigers speech and debate team brought home various honors as eight of them qualified to compete at this year’s state-level tournament following their performance at the district tournament held Feb. 22.

Lex St. Peter and Brooklynn Simons will represent the Talkin’ Tigers in the public forum competition at the state tournament with Vanessa Morales, Kit Tomsha-Smith and Montserrat Gomez set to compete in the Congressional debate event.
