Public gains look at power project

Proposed plans to expand one of Idaho Power’s local power plants and its potential impact to the Mountain Home community highlighted a series of discussions addressed during an open house event held Feb. 24.

Representatives from Idaho Power hosted the event at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge to give local residents a chance to review plans involving the Bennett Mountain Power Plant on the city’s north side.
