Councilman addresses mayor’s apology

A “communication gap” between the mayor of Mountain Home and the city’s elected officials possibly led to misinformation regarding the dual roles involving the community’s military liaison officer, according to the city council’s president.

In a meeting with the Mountain Home News, Scott Harjo addressed his concerns involving a video Mayor Rich Sykes recently posted to social media in which he apologized for alleged actions a member of the city council took with regards to Marty Anderson.
