Black History banquet scheduled

Angela Taylor returns to Mountain Home this week to speak at this year’s Black History banquet.

Members from Mountain Home’s Black History Committee invite others in the local community to come together to reflect on love and unity in Black history during a banquet scheduled for Friday evening.

Celebrating its 37th anniversary in Mountain Home, the semi-formal event begins with social hour at 6:30 p.m. that evening at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge, 325 South 3rd West St., with dinner set to follow at 7:15 p.m.
