Investigation continues into house fire

The fire started in the bedroom of the house on Beaman Road with city firefighters keeping most of the flames contained within that room.

City firefighters continued their investigation into the cause of a fire that damaged a home on Beaman Road north of Mountain Home on Jan. 29.

City firefighters were dispatched to the home, located near the intersection of North 18th Street at 3:55 a.m. after a member of the home woke up and noticed something was wrong and immediately alerted others living there, said city fire chief Mark Moore.
