Monday, February 3, 2025

Officers with the Mountain Home Police Department continued their investigation involving multiple vehicle burglaries reported over the weekend.

According to Police Lt. Ty Larsen, the break-ins occurred in the vicinity of the 700 block of South 5th West Street.

While police continued to locate the suspects who committed these crimes, those responsible for these break-ins took nothing of significant value from these vehicles, Larsen said.

In a message shared with the Mountain Home News, Larsen urged local residents to take time to ensure they keep their vehicles locked. In addition, he reminded people to avoid storing valuable items or items with personal information inside these vehicles.

Those with any information regarding the identity of these suspects are asked to call the city police department at (208) 587-2101 during regular business hours or contact the Elmore County Sheriff's Office dispatch department at (208) 587-2100.
