Rural school district faces challenges

Facing a continuing decline in student enrollment at the three schools in the Bruneau-Grand View School District, officials met this month as part of an ongoing discussion involving various challenges the district may face.

During a scheduled board meeting Jan. 14, district superintendent Jeff Blaser highlighted the financial concerns the district currently faces and what steps it might need to take to ensure its schools remain financially stable and sustainable.
