“Don’t drink and drive” represented one of the key messages outlined in the Choices Matter program as students at Richard McKenna Charter High School took turns to wear a pair of goggles that inhibited their ability to safely navigate down a virtual roadway as each of them gained an personal perspective regarding the dangers of driving under the influence.

Students at Richard McKenna Charter High School gained a first-hand look at how certain decisions in life come with unexpected and often dire consequences as they took part in a program held at the school earlier this month.

The charter school in Mountain Home was among the more than 1,000 schools across the nation that hosted the national Choices Matter program in recent months.
