Yearly event honors local citizens

Recognizing their contributions to the Mountain Home community over the years, Ted Thompson presents Joe and Mildred McNeal with the lifetime achievement award during Saturday’s chamber of commerce banquet.

Applauding the dedication two people made to help their community as well as the countless hours both of them spend to take on various roles to support others in this town, representatives with the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce celebrated their accomplishments by naming them as the city’s man and woman of the year.

Honored during the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce’s Installation Banquet on Saturday, Shananda Pendleton and Jimmy Schipani joined 62 other individuals that have earned these awards since 1993.
