Wayne Lee Moseng

Wayne Lee Moseng (81) passed away suddenly on January 14, 2025 in Boise, Idaho. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 15, 1943 to Gaylord & Ruby Moseng. He grew up working on the family farm with his parents and 7 siblings.

He enlisted in the Air Force in 1962 which took him to Korea, Vietnam, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

While in Germany he married Brigette Weiland. The union brought a daughter, Marlene. Brigette and Wayne later divorced.

Wayne later met and married Barbara Willett and adopted Ken, a son from Barbara’s previous marriage. Soon after Wayne and Barbara wed Lee was born.

In 1988, after 26 years in the Air Force, Wayne retired. He then went on to work for Bowman Plumbing as a mechanic until he decided he wanted to spend more time with Barbara and his grandchildren. Barbara unfortunately passed in 2004.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Harvey and Gaylen, and his sisters Beverly and Judy.

His is survived by his sisters, Donna, Norma and Linda, daughter Marlene, sons Ken and Lee. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed.
