C.J. Strike Dam boat launch area reopens

The construction project involving the C.J. Strike Dam’s north park area included removing the old stationary structures the dock area and replacing them with new, floating docks.

Three months after it closed as part of a scheduled repair project, Idaho Power’s boat launch at the C.J. Strike Dam’s north park area reopened to the public last week.

The boat launch at the recreational facility on the Snake River south of Mountain Home was one of a series of projects headed by Idaho Power aimed at updating the existing recreational facilities along the Snake River.
