Charter school project continues
The dust of powdered plaster coated the floors of the hallways and rooms as crews continued work to prepare the walls along these areas for future coats of fresh paint. Nearby, extension cords plugged into wall outlets remain connected to an assortment of flood lights to provide construction crews a better view inside these rooms as they continued to install permanent light fixtures in these ceilings.
Sheets of black plastic blocked the doorway leading into the construction area. To a point, it reminded people to don a helmet and other protective gear before stepping into the area.
At the same time, it reminded students and staff members at Richard McKenna Charter High School of the continued progress made in recent months to expand the school’s campus area.
