Terror attacks prompt need for vigilance

Local law enforcement agencies urged people in Mountain Home and communities across the county to remain vigilant following a reported terrorist attack that killed 15 people and injured dozens of others in New Orleans on Jan. 1.

The Associated Press reported that investigators continued to look into whether others were involved in the rampage in which the driver of a pickup truck sped through a crowd of pedestrians in the city’s French Quarter district early that morning.
