Crimes in the Mountain Home area that led to the arrest of two women in connection with a missing person’s case from three years ago as well as the arrests of two others in connection with a murder at a local motel and another in Tipanuk topped the list of stories making headlines in the Mountain Home News over the past 12 months.

During its review of various stories published in the newspaper over the past year, the newspaper’s editorial board agreed the break in the missing person’s case in which both women now face charges of first-degree murder as well as two cases involving the deaths of two others gained the most attention by readers in the Mountain Home community.
