Sheriff’s dept. issues ‘brushing scam’ alert

The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office joined other law enforcement agencies across the state last week to warn residents regarding a scam that’s targeted people in multiple states.

A post shared on social media alerted residents regarding what they referred to as a “brushing scam.”
