Wreaths Across America event scheduled

Representatives from various military veterans’ organizations in Mountain Home plan to place various wreaths at Mountain View Cemetery as they take part in this year’s Wreaths Across America observance.

People in the Mountain Home community join others in cities across the nation Saturday morning to honor the country’s military veterans during the annual Wreaths Across America Day observance.

Currently scheduled to start at 10 a.m. that day at Mountain View Cemetery, community representatives and volunteers plan to continue a tradition by placing specially designated wreaths in honor of the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine as well as current and former prisoners or war and those still missing in action.
