Mayor Rich Sykes marked the completion of a yearly event in which he joined forces with mayors across Idaho to raise hundreds of dollars to benefit Mountain Home and other state communities.
Hosted by the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health, the statewide Mayor’s Walking Challenge gave these elected officials a chance to raise up to $1,000 last month in addition to “setting a great example by being physically active,” according to a spokesperson with the state organization.
