Giving Mountain Home a ‘clean sweep...’

Josefina Martinez, a junior at Richard McKenna Charter High School, rakes up leaves that covered the lawn of a home on Maple Drive as other students worked to tidy up other areas around the home during this year’s “Rake Up Mountain Home” event on Saturday.

More than 175 volunteers representing local schools, Girl Scout troops and local businesses took time that day to tidy up 19 homes across town.
