Sandy Castellano, vice commander with the American Legion Department of Idaho’s Area B chapter, right, performs a ceremony to officially install the Legion’s District 4 newly elected officers 2nd Vice Commander Sandi Crossno and appointed Adjutant Julie Frydrych during a ceremony held at the Post 101 headquarters in Mountain Home.

The ceremony came as District 4’s Commander Mark Rhatigan and 1st Vice Commander Jim Bailey moved up to fill vacancies on the state department’s executive board.
