Local Legion post expels former state rep

A former member of the Idaho American Legion who also served with Post 101 in Mountain Home was formally expelled earlier this month as an investigation continued regarding charges that he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from the state organization.

Charles “Abe” Abrahamson of Mountain Home served as the adjutant with the state American Legion executive committee before officials suspended him from his position back in April.
