People gather during Fall Harvest

Members of the Mountain Home Lions Club take their tractor-drawn wagon for a test drive as they prepared to provide free rides for people and families taking part in this year’s Fall Harvest festival on Saturday. This year marked the first time the local club hosted these rides in which people sat on bales of hay as they traveled through downtown Mountain Home.

Cool temperatures and the threat of rain and the pelting of hail didn’t seem to deter families as they made the yearly trek to the city’s downtown area on Saturday as the community came together for a day of good-natured fun and entertainment.

The 28th Annual Fall Harvest Festival marked the unofficial end of southern Idaho’s yearly farming season.
